Conflicts in relationships can be quite complex especially if the conflict has gone on for many years. I can help couples entrenched in fights over a long time to understand and lower the intensity of their disagreements and fights whilst giving them the opportunity to build the connections that have been damaged. Fights can leave deep emotional injuries that are hard to heal without professional help. If you’re struggling with your partner in a pattern of fights that feel overwhelming, try couples therapy.

Creating a safe, non-judgmental environment for you and your partner is of utmost importance to me. I will help you work through cycles of negative interaction to bring your relationships to a more secure, more attached, and less conflicted place where resources and strengths can be recognised and built on. I have experience of working with mixed couples who have different beliefs and come from different cultures. I will help you build more positive relationships without yelling, shaming and blaming by learning to communicate more effectively.

Sessions are usually once a week for fifty minutes. Cancellations of less than 48 hours’ notice are charged the full rate. With 48hours notice, I still charge a £10 cancellation fee.

For psychotherapy to be effective it is important to maintain regular appointments. Initially, this is weekly, but in time we might agree to meet fortnightly. I understand that sometimes there will be circumstances that can interrupt regular attendance.
